In many ways, our intercollegiate athletic programs are Oakland’s “front door” for guests and community members alike. Golden Grizzlies intercollegiate sports teams compete in contests across Michigan, the Midwest, and the entire country, often shining a national spotlight on our teams and our entire University.

To help our students excel in their sport and succeed in their coursework, Oakland University Golden Grizzlies Athletics strives to provide a first-class experience for student-athletes. We promote an environment that fosters success in the classroom, in competition, and in the community, while maintaining a focus that is consistent with University objectives for excellence in all areas.
