Employer: Oakland University Expires: 12/01/2025 Health Sciences is hiring one grader for the Winter 2026 academic semester. Grader is responsible for grading and providing feedback on assignments in all sections of NTR 2500 Human Nutrition and Health, and HS 2000 Introduction to Health and Health Behaviors lecture. The total workload will be divided evenly among two graders. Grader will coordinate with the class instructors (Sarah Martin, Jessica Siewert, Emily VanWasshenova and Michelle Davila) and may work up to 20 hours per week. Qualified candidates will have superior computer and typing skills and have familiarity with Moodle.  Necessary characteristics also include the ability to work independently, to have excellent attention to detail, to communicate directly and clearly with the course professor(s), and to use astute critical thinking skills, particularly in the areas of nutrition, dietary intake and health science. This is a great position for students thinking of attending graduate school in health sciences or with an interest in health education.  Candidates must have completed NTR 2500 and HS 2000 with a grade of B or better (3.0 or above). Candidates will be expected to work up to 20 hours a week for several weeks (not all) during the Winter semester and attend 6-8 meetings per semester with the class instructors. Hours are flexible, and the candidate arranges a regular schedule with the instructors based on their availability.
